Jesus, it looks like you brought home a lot of the beach. You could make a kief castle. Do you freeze your dry trim before you tumble/sift it? How long do you sift for the A grade/first batch?

Dry Ice sift. I have a "Extraction Contraption". It's a stainless steel cone with a silkscreen over the face. It attaches to a cement mixer. You place your trim/popcorn in the mixer with 5lbs of dry ice and tumble for 2-3min for the best kief. The kief passes thru the screen and is captured in the cone. The kief you see on the mirror is when I buy an ice chest full of dry ice and just sit in the basement and make run after run. You know you have a good run when the cone frosts up from all the frozen kief that's falling into it...

Thanks tyler, you know me...lol They sell the screens in many micron sizes. I think that's a 110.
You could run a second pass but it starts to get dirty and I usually have so much trim to run I don't bother, although I know theres still trichs in there...

Awesome. I have a little pollen tumbler that can do about 1/2 pound at a time. I'm so behind on tumbling, I have 5 huge Whole Foods paper bags full of popcorn bud and frosty trim, some are over 2 years old. I never even thought about dry ice, derp. I always waited until it was below zero to freeze then tumble the trim. I bought a nice resin press a couple of years ago for a grand, but I've only used it a couple of times with poor results. I need practice. I finna get some dry ice and start a-tumblin'. Thanks for the info and inspiration...
