Kickass Butterfly Photo

My daughter took this photo the other day and it is kick ass.

It's a Painted Lady (Vanessa cardui) butterfly. There were a bunch of them fluttering all over my Garlic Chives.

looks like something from a scene in a Lord of the Rings movie

I thought it was an awesome photo, it's hard to get a good close up of a butterfly since they tend to never hold still LOL

She'll be glad someone commented. She was pretty proud of this pic. I was too.

Good photo.. I love butterflies... I wish everything could be as colorful.
