A friend of mine is growing a plant that's been flowering for 2 1/2 months. Started at 16" and now it's 5' and still growing. He thought it would be around 3 1/2 to 4' total. We can't tell if it's male or female yet. No hairs, no balls. Every time something that looks like it might be a bud, turns out to be another leaf. What's up with this plant? He ferts every 3 - 4 weeks. The plant looks healthy.

Ok,
First off the plant will definitely have a sex showing. Second, some strains are tall growers and nearly triple in size when flowering. So you need to consider topping earlier in veg before "your friend" turns the lights.
Just post some pics and I will tell you if its a m/f. And at 75 days of flower, you should be harvesting about now. Definitely post some pics bro.
