We have Central Air but not in my Grow Room.

The exhaust Fan is just blowing into the room.

I told my Son we should just vent it outside. He said just run A/C into my room.

I have to open door use big fan to blow air into grow room. If its 85-90F in there and 70 in the home its pretty much a ac unit level effectiveness. When ac kicks on then I can close door.

Can vent outside but it warmed up my whole upper floor a few degress if thats ok. Hvac guys said my venting out was the culprit. Its working now that I dont vent outside. Just for summers.

I grow in an insulated, unconditioned (in the summer) shop. I vent into the attic, which helps control humidity, but also heat - not only from my lights, but the positive pressure in the attic aids its passive ventilation.

If I had an A/C, I would still vent to the attic.

If you're having heat or humidity issues, I'd start with venting outside. If that doesn't do enough, A/C might help. But as @medidedicated pointed out, that might put more load on your A/C than it's designed for.

This is the last summer I'm flowering indoors until I can effectively control my temps in the summer without breaking the bank.

It's just too damn expensive.
This is the first summer I gave it a go. Drying will be challenging. Right now I'm testing my 2x2 with four jugs of frozen water. With 100dF outside and 82dF in the shop - hopefully four jugs every 12 hours will work. Sitting at 69dF and 60%RH right now. Hehe.

But in veg they love the humitidy so you got 4ish months to veg out monsters
I'm trying the opposite right now. Got a couple 20 watt lights in a box made of 2 stacked 27 gal totes, vegging out a bunch of seedlings and a couple clones. Trying to practice keeping plants small... it's a work in progress.

Wouldn't be so bad if they weren't sativa Dom plants with some vigor lol
