keep fan leaves or cut them?? first grow

jus thought id ask if u should keep the fan leaves alone or clip them off?? my theory is they are usin plant nutes and since they dont produce buds they are useless.:?::?:...IMO....but since im NOT the lord of growin these beautiful tress theres gotta be experience out there...lol....much appreciated.....im in 3rd week of flower

i thogjt the same thing. thinkig ill let more light hit the buds. wrong. if u gut off the fan leaves the plant tell it to make more and itll stop bud production and use it to creat more leaves.

omg people, basic botany here..

leaves hang out in the light and convert light energy into foods and sugars via photosynthesis.. in all actuality, leaves are what grow buds, not the other way around..

not trying to be a dick m8.. just think about other plants in nature is all.. do people cut all of the leaves off of tomato plants in order to get bigger tomatoes? etc, etc, cannabis is no different than any other plant..

thats very true.......every time i give them fert they seem 2 get nute burn....im usin MG & about 1/4 of the dose recommended.....what do u think is a better fert 2 use in flower?? one that i can get at my local feed supply dont do online ordering sry.(atleast not 4 this type of activity lol)...
