I try and walk a couple miles everyday. But It usually ends up to only three or for days a week. I've found that my back feels much better if I do some regular walking. As I age I've found that the wear and tear I've put on my body over the years is showing it's true face. Between a few years in construction, wakeboarding, and sitting in front of a computer with not always the best posture, my back sometimes lets me know I've abused it. I've started walking a couple miles as often as I can. It seems to make me feel better overall and it's really easy to do.
I have weights and a bench but my goto exercise is just a good brisk walk. I especially like walking early in the morning. If it's raining that's a plus as well. A cool brisk walk in clean air. It's a great way to start the day. I'm also planning on bunch of hikes this summer so I need to get my legs and everything ready to go.
Anyone else do a lot of walking just to walk?
