damn what a fukin day!!! its OK tho, dont let the tittle fool u... i did tear down my grow room in order to make a new 1... my grows r done in homade tents made with 2x3 studs and a shitload of nails(dint know how many i used when i made it but fuk i do now as my saber saws blade broke so i used a hammer to desmember it)... lol... what a chore to do espeicaly since i have plants in both veg and flower...

anywasy so 2 shity tents (a 4x4 and an 8x4) i could barley stand in(they were 5 ft high) are ripped down as well as the beaver panelling around on the walls... its half panda filmed to the studs as of now(im jus taking a break)... the new room is 18x8ft now... oh im stoked!!! i wish i woulda taken pics of this shit hole b4 i gave it a makeover!!!

anyways, gotta get bak at er.. i got get this done...these gals gota get seperated in rooms by the end of tonite.. i wont get the whole room done today but they will have a safe place to spend the night...

big tings acoming!

So will your vegetation room be completely enclosed? I know someone with a similar setup and they're wondering if it needs to be fully partitioned since all the walls are reflective? There is a nifty ceiling fan, but keeping it would leave half a foot of space down from the ceiling.

yes it will be fully inclosed so no light leaks in to the flower room.... i am framing 2 walls in the corner and covering it with film as well.... ur friend will need to do the same or his plant may turn herm from light leaks during dark time in the flower room ... or put a curtain up from the top to botom... i will have a passive intake to the veg room and small 4 inch inline exguasting into the flower room where a 8inch inline will take it outside

Awesme. you just answered multiple questions I had. Thanks. One more thing though (sorry to hijack)... Do you have your carbon filter on the exhaust side of your inline fan? Would this be acceptable (obviously the pre filter becomes worthless)? My friend is thinking of just splitting his exhaust hose and sending one tube to the veg room, and one to the flowering room. He only has 1 6" inline/carbon filter for his 9x9' room. Maybe this is inadequate exhaust? There is no AC, so cooling of the room is done with passive intake from the rest of the house and relies primarily on the exhaust fan.

thats a good question.... my air filters then exghausts but to exghaust and then filter is a good idea.. i dont see y it wouldnt work... but the pre filter keeps debrie out of it which can waer ur gear down faster... what if he built a small airtight box with 2x4's and vapor barrier... inclosed the filter and inline in it and ran the hoses from each room to the box... then it would go threw the filter and out the top of the box to where ever hes exghasting... bring air in from outside if u can... it will flow better and if ur in the winter season like i am, it will cool it down...

i have been looking at this room i built and am wondering if i should inclose the veg room or jus put a devider 1/2 way in the room... my ideas keep changing.. its sooo hard not to think of another way to do sumthing and which would be best... im thinking if i inclose the veg room to a 5x5 it will be cluttered and tight to go in there and water and such as aposed to haveing a 8x8 room to work in... it will also have better reflection as 4 walls would be tight against the plants instead of 2 walls... but then if i jus devide it, perhaps my hydro gear will take up too much space not giving me enuff room to walk around and tend to plants and the system... my main room was gonna be the flower room and if i need to do work, i will have less options when i can due to 12/12... atleast my veg room will have 18hrs light and if the lights are off at that time, i can always turn 1 on where as i cant in the flower room cuz they need uninterupted darkness... and my veg room would be the fist room to walk in as soon as i open the door... what do u guys think??? inclose the veg room with a 5x5 and keep the rest open or devide the rooms in 1/2 giving my more room to walk around, move plants, water, store shit, ect.... im thinking 1 big room will be easier to controll temps and such as well, as aposed to haveing two 9x8 rooms as my flower room will have 2 1000s in it and if i left it open there would be 2 1000s in 13x8 and then some... opinions fast plz??

k so im a shitty artist and its mad late so i crayoned a few lay outs...

k so option 1 is inclosed veg room...
"red" is free space
"orange" is the flower room
"green is inclosed veg room
"purple" is areopoics and 1k lights aprox 7x4 each unit
grey is door to room

option 2 is the devided room... flower room 11-12ft X 8ft and veg 6-7ft X 8ft
orange is flower room
green is veg room
purple is aero set up and 1k lights
grey is door to room

which lay out u think would be best... keep in mind the room is 8ft wide 18ft long and the "stinkbuds areosystems" are aprox 7x4 so i need to get around the systems and plants both in flower and veg

Well I would make sure you have enough room to do your work. If its to cramped it becomes a chore to work not a pleasure . My 10x10 will give me enough room to set up 2 flowering areas 5x5 and one vegging 4x4 . My mothrs and clones will have their own space with a nice work area left for me.

In sketch 2 how far between tables is that? Im thinkin unless you have some kind of barrier the plants will grow into your walking space. Why dont you push the two tables together (in pic 2) and then just walk around the whole thing?
