Just Tied Down A Mango,What Do You Think?

Ok so i have decided to tie down 1 of the plant's,i have also topped this

I will continue to keep this tied down,along with tieng down the new shoot's were i have topped it.

Do you think this will work well for sidebanching and is there any tip's you can give me?

I would like to mimic the act of a fallen tree,so the side branching shoot's up

I will be repotting into a 40ltr tub' in a month aswell

have you looked at super cropping? i've done it a few times and ended up with about 8 tops. plus you dont need to keep it tied down once the stalk heals.
