Just saw a tiny white fly in my grow tent (UK) what do I do PLS HELP

Just saw a tiny white fly in my grow tent (UK) what do I do? Soap and water spray? Can I buy a product that will kill it? Would a spray I have for aphids that I use for my chillies ok? There was only a sign of one, but did the fly come first or the EGG? Arrrggghhh it was all going so well :wall:

Chill, if it was just one fly it may not be an issue! could have come in from anywhere.

I use Neem oil once a week, spray the underside of leaves, every bit of the plant. Its a preventative and cure for early invasions.

I use the "Garden Safe" brand from walmart :mrgreen: but only in veg, never in flower, and only mist them and spray the topsoil, if it's safe for veggies (chillies) it's ""probably"" alright for MJ....but in veg only...you don't want to spray buds...you might get away with spraying the topsoil in flower but don't soak it...
BTW...that's a last line of defense for me...I use neem oil in veg from sprout, but I water them once a week with it...it works from the inside of the plant to deter any leaf muchers from even showin themselves :twisted:....good luck and welcome to RIU...

OK :D thanks - the product I have is called Bug Clear Gun, and found a thread on another forum, veteran growers all used it, like 6 or 7 of them. I have the stuff here in the house now. I am hydro and clay pebbles. I am going to spray tonight, at the start of dark period. I am in 1st day of 12/12. Neem oil is being researched now! Thanks wonderful people <3

Find it and kill it and if you see another one kill it and if you see another one then you got a problem

I had a friend and she had a white fly problem starting, then the little bastards found a crack in her hood so the went for the light. They had a feckin' party inside that glass everynight, until they all died, from thirst I would imagine. It was sort of funny to watch them hop around and have an orgy, but the fun didn't last long.
