So the space is my closet because i will have family visiting but if it in my room they wont go in it. the space is 6 feet 4 inches long by 22 inches wide and like 8 feet tall. i have a 250 watt HPS and MH now and i have tons of seeds. i want to use 2 liters and go from clone to flower following al bs guide( lollipop style) with 2 week intervals. i will be using either foxfarm ocean forest or pro mix BX. how much light can i fit in this baby? 400 watts? streching to 650 watts maybe by adding my 250? and how many plants under ethier 400 watts or 650 watts?

You may be able to add a 400w to that area as long as the ambient room temperature stays in the low 70's

I have 800w in 2 x 5' closet check it out

in a closet that big, you might want to do lollipop, sog and use a 400w hps imo. the light wont be able to disperse along the dimensions given.

ok cool, and how would one vent out a closet with the doorway is the only exit, i dont really wanna have it look like a grow op with duct coming out.

yea the sea of green method is the one i wanna use.
i usually vent through the cavity of the wall.. just make a small cut or hole stick the fan nose into the cavity. i have a carbon filter so it doesnt smell.

i kept the piece i cut so when i leave the place i can put it back with some mud and sand it down and repaint it, like new.

well you have a choice. you can do a passive intake, basically a hole in the wall to bring in fresh air and co2. or you can do active intake which is basically a 120mm case fan rigged up to a ac adapter, or another cage fan or some kind of fan to increase air flow. i did 2 case fans at 70cfm (140cfm) to bring in air from the wall cavity.

ok cool and last question maybe hehe how would i go about cutting a hole in the wall neatly so i can keep the piece and put it back in if i move? also how do i know where to cut a hole so i dont hit solid stuff and what not.

best thing would be to use a slim saw or if you have a knife with teeth. use a stud finder to detect any solid objects behind the wall. what i did was i made a small incision with a drill and stuck my knife in and cut along a circle i made accordingly to my fan nose. then i took some aluminum duct tape and sealed the loose ends.

if you dont have a stud finder prolly just using the knocking technique to hear the difference between a hallow and solid area.
