Just got bud rot on an outdoor plant, should I chop?

I am growing a gelat.og outsife this season and I was looking at her and she in the first stages of bud rot should I chop early?

When I run into BR on my outdoor runs, I try to just remove the infected buds and leave the plant.
BR is usually associated with rain/moisture trapped in the buds, so it'll stay around if those conditions persist.
