hey everyone.. hope everyone is doing alright today.

I have a question.. err well. I'm in an argument with my brother over 'how often someone should feed their plant nutes, while the plant is flowering."

Right.. well I have.. in my experience, I would usually start feeding with quarter-strength feedings of nutes to start with.

Then gradually work up to feeding your plant with full strength feedings of nutes.

Then, I would only feed the plant once a week per month. So, 4 times a month.\
Just make sure you do it towards the end of the week so that there is a good solid gap in between feedings. I also watered alittle bit here and there too ya dig.

That's how you do it right? When flowering.. your suppose to start feeding with low strength doses of your nutes. Work way up to the full strength dose over time. But do it slowly. But you also need to water the plant as well.. just whenever it needs it.

Ughh.. I mean I'm probably leaving out something important here.. but I can't think really well right now. Man he pisses me off.. my brother is one of those 'know it alls'. Especially with growing mj.

Thinks he's the master.... ROFL!!! yea...
right.

Anyhow, is that not correct?

There are more ways than one to skin a cat, it's all subjective. I prefer your method, but I would feed every other watering.

I'm going to be using FF nutes for my next grow and plan to use their feeding schedule. It says to feed every other watering. On my last grow I had to water every 2 days. I would then be feeding them every 4 days. Depending of course on things being the same.

What does your brother say?

Well, I'll wait and see if he even gets on and checks the thread for him self. hehehe..

I mean I thank him all the time. If it was not for my brother? I would not know what
I now know about growing and such. Ya dig? He pretty much taught me everything
I know.

EDITED: Hey, I also meant to mention the fact that I like your method. Like the sounds of that.
Everyone's should be kinda different anyhow. Not everyone's mediums are the same.. and react differently when in contact with water.

when i grew in soil i used fox farms nute and schedule through out veg and flower. By the time i got to flower stage i would start off with just about the full schedule and feed plants that were in 5 gallon containers 2 times a week and 1 a month water with regular ro water and i hardly ever had issues with nute burn or nute lockout
