I want to attempt my first grow and I want to do it in a PC Grow Case. I will be building the case myself following this guide http://www.weedguru.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=88&t=26625
But I've just got a couple questions about it all...

2. How often should I water and how much water should I use for veg and for flowering?
3. What can I use to cover up the fans to block the light and keep it trapped in the case but still allow air flow through the case?
The reason I want to use the PC lights is because I can't find what the adapter is called that lets you plug a cfl into a power point and also being in Australia I doubt I will be able to find them easily, living in a country town probably doesn't help with that either.
