What’s up ladies and gents. Started Humboldt Seed Co.-Jelly Ranchers -Fems.
-2x4 tent , 6” ac infinity inline
-seedlings under DIY 6 bar Samsung’s , Cree XP3 royals . Bars are 4K and 5k using a mix of lm561c and 281+
-Happy Frog soil mixed with extra perlite and Basic Miracle grow organic. 50/50
-2 plants , finishing in 5gal pots.
-Another DIY will be used later in the grow to late veg/flower. 3/3.5K Samsung’s ,lm561c and lm301b. With Cree xp3 660nm’s and UVA from rapid led.

- Probably will top them one more time here shortly, filling in nice and short. Prob 2-3 more weeks then flip if no probs arise. Fed once at .6/450ish and they got pretty dark. Just been doing 6.4-6.8 ph 200ppm tap.

-culled two of the four that were growing balls.
-transplanted the one female(for sure) to 3g left the other for now. If the other is female 86574759-A3FD-4814-B689-06017AA8F4BC.jpeg as well, one is going outside and the other I’ll run in this 2x2 and test flower with the sf1000..

-swapped out the veg and flipped on flower light.. 28-30” at 320w -
- transplanted to 3gal , might finish in 5’s.. prob 2 weeks til flip. bongsmilie

-it’s been a few days since the light swap and they’re looking good to me. Another week ish until flip, net going in soon with UVA/660 pucks. Cleaned out the bottoms, thinned inside a bit. :joint:

- things are coming along smoothly. Vpd from 1 to 1.08. No more humidifier, hopefully. turned on the remaining reds, may bump watts but they’ve grown into more ppfd so most likely will wait until flower. Happy with this diy so far . I know, test is in the nugs. Update in a few days . Happy growing bongsmilie

Very cool grow! I have a couple Jellies running outside plus some rooted cuttings of theirs; it's ridiculous how many flowering sites JR puts on for its size. Counting the first node above the cotyledons as #1, I think my first JR had 11-12 nodes by the time it was 23 inches tall. I've gotten the sense that exposing all the flowering sites is one of the main challenges growing this strain (good problem to have!).

Respect for the DIY bars, and your grow looks nice and rowdy, looking forward to seeing how it runs!

Thanks for checking em out. Yeah the are staying short. I thought it was the blues I had on them. Kinda a trial run with this strain since so few have ran it. (That I’ve seen) mine have been mellow so far. :joint::joint:

- last 18hr night, added 2nd net. Defoled a few more handfuls of inner/lower fans/larf. Let’s see how this 45day flower works out hsc. Doubt it , but would be nice. Happy growing all. :joint:

Looking forward to seeing how much they stretch! If they hit anywhere close to the promised potency level JR is quite the strain.

I'll say that I've seen two grows from nosaltgrows and overlyengineered on Instagram where they chopped around 48-50 days, which is still a decently fast flip
 
I’m going to have to check out their grows. Haven’t done much research on JR. I was also told the trichs don’t amber up . Makes sense chopping at 45-50 but apparently even normal times ,they stay cloudy throughout. Guess we’ll see soon enough. bongsmilie
 
My tents in day 12 starting tonight and the cherries have popped it was jus a day or two that I could notice how stacked they were up top I have only fed mine 3 times so far but I am pleased with the plants definitely going to be hiking their “skirts” up decent amount on second defoliation. I have posted pics of them since this past tuesday will post something tomorrow after I finish feeding the ones that will need em .

question: what type of led bars are you using?
 
Right on, I’ll check em out. Only fed mine 3 times too. They have stretched about 3-5” the past 3 days so the feed is about to change.
-Lights are DIY samsung bars- 3/3.5k mix of q,m,f series.
