Jcurtis Socal Perpetual Multi-strain 1000W Thread

This is my second grow, but my first journal. Ive already got a good crop growing, which includes:

1. 2X White Widows (these were taken as a clone from my first grow)

2. 1X Bagseed A (friend said it was a sack of Jack Herer), sex still unknown

3. 4X Bagseed B (same friend said it came from a dispensary, XJ-13 strain), all 4 sexes still unknown.

I also just recieved a shipment from attitude seeds that only took 8 days to Socal. All tiger striped and none crushed. My first order and went off without a hitch:

1. 10X Butan Thimptu regs

2. 1X Pakistan Valley Fem

3. 1X Lemon Juice Express Auto Fem

4. 1X Cheese Candy Fem

5. 2X Mulanje Gold Reg

6. 2X Mozambique Poison Reg

7. 2X Malawi Gold Reg


Not gonna plant these just yet, trying to stay in California limits. The only time im going to take clones is when i have a super exceptional mother, otherwise im going to be growing from seed. My short growing experience has shown me that seeds grow faster, stronger, and symmetrically. Clones seem to take off slower, and they dont have a symmetrical growth pattern. And it fascinates me to to be able to do my own crosses as i get males out the bunch.

Setup/Misc/Nutes

1. General Organics GO Box

2. 1X 1000W HPS Light (strictly for flowering)

3. 6.5X4X4 grow tent

4. Bathroom Vanity Cabinet modified with 4X 20W CFLS (strictly for vegging)

5. Rubbermaid trash can with red wrigglers making me worm castings

6. Rubbermaid bucket full of compost from a local ranch that is made from horse, sheep, rabbit, and chicken droppings.


HPS lights come on in about a hour, so i will snap some pics then and upload them.

SO i learned something new this morning. Trying to take a clear picture under full HPS lights is very difficult. I see now why people have those dark bars when taking pics. I got one of a decent quality, im going to wait until tonight 10 mins for the hps comes on, and take some pictures then.

Growing weed is really boring when everything is going well. 2 weeks into flower, and they are produces MASSIVE cola sights already, gonna take pics in a few hours when the lights come on.
