im halfway through constructing my 1st grow cab. Its dimensions measure 2'wx2'dx4'h, and is being ventilated by a negative pressure system consisting of 4x120mm pc fans running as an exhaust, some vents in the floor for air intake. Now, i am planning to use a 250w hps, but i am concerned with the heat that will be involved (intake air temp will averagely range between 15-20degrees celcius), so i was looking for an alternative... I have been looking on ebay lately at 130w (true wattage, not equivalent) cfl globes and was wondering what peoples experiences were like with them? If i was to run them i was thinking about 2 or 3 of them, so im curious as to the light penetration provided by them, and how hot they run?
