But cultivating them isn't. WTF? Anyway, if it is indeed legal
to buy them, where might I go to do so? Fungi mature much
faster than vascular plants, if ya catch my drift. ;)

Think you got it reverse homeboy! Spores are legal for microscopic research and grown are illegal. Anytime psychotropic mushroom besides amanita are illegal to posses!
