Pretty random but my plant two mornings ago looked like it does in my picture. Due to being high & lazy I don't feel like taking a picture right now but o well. In the picture to the left in my avatar my plant was only 8.5 inches. My 75 Watt light was about 6 to 8 inches above my plant. I was gone for only one day and my plant grew to be exactly 1 foot tall  / . Good but bad my plant grew too tall in one day so his newer leaves that are coming up got a couple burn spots . When I saw my plant it startled me so I broke my light and bought a new one the end.

I get a few burns on every grow I do. If you use lazy pot head methods you get lazy pot head results. I'm sure I lose a quarter ounce or so off each plant from my mistakes but I'd rather make lazy mistakes than work twice as hard. You just have to balance your own priorities
