Hello everyone, I am new to the site but have been reading awhile, figured id finally join and make my contribution. I started growing a couple years ago although with great failure, now that im out on my own and can afford proper equiptment its been like 10x better.
My plants are 2 1/2 weeks old, started under compact flourescence and moved to a High pressure sodium about a week ago, i have 3 plants which have been growing faster every day it seems, so just wondering everyones opinion, any input is welcome.

(ps the plant on top isnt that yellow in normal light it just the light is closer to it at the moment)

yeah already got that covered, were keepin a close eye on them for now, this was a experimental grow that ended up turing a little more that just that, had potting soil left over from some flowers so i figured id use it while i had it, but have lots of nutrience for them suppliment wies.

Oh i just noticed the tin foil....Big No Go especially if you have just got a high intensity discharge lamp, you will be garenteed burns on your wondeful foliage.
believe it or not, foil only offers about 20 to 30% reflection and what it does reflect is concentrated.. what i did was paint the wood in my grow closet white MATT not GLOSS. This gives about 75 to 80 % reflection and isnt concentrated. :)

whats up with that plant in the white pot? it looks funny mate and your soil looks very lumpy and stony, you need to break up the lumps and sieve out any stones or better yet buy some decent soil, i think your roots are having a hard time growing in that soil, your plants will grow much better and faster in good quality soil/compost. and what is that behind the white pot? pic below are some of my plants when they were around 2-3 weeks old.

Those have to be clones, growing from a seed you would never have plants lookin like those in three weeks.

Clones grow so much faster. and its evident in your pic

Nice Crop Though :eyesmoke:

ffs theyre from seed, il take a pic tomorrow and you can see the original label i put on the pot with germination date written on it and date watermark on the pic! have grown many things in many years myself.................

whats so hard to believe??? i EXPECT all my seed growns to reach at least a foot tall by the time theyre a month old, thats the norm in my neck o the woods, i veg my seed growns for up to 8weeks in which time they can hit 2foot or more before i put em into bloom room, they would grow even faster if i grew hydro

would you care to explain to me exactly why i would never have plants lookin like that in three weeks? in good conditions they can grow 1/2-1inch per day, i do my best to give my plants as good conditions as i can and in return they give me fast growth.

How tall are they? Are those just really zoomed pics that make them look really big? THey look 2 feet tall already in those pics.

no, the three on the left are big buddha cheese theyre around 8-10inches in that pic and the ones on the right are NL5xhaze mist 10-12inches in that pic.
