It’s a jungle in there! What should I do?

This tent is getting awful thick. I got an oscillating fan on the floor and one fan on the canopy. RH is up to 60 in this tent. Temps are high 60s low 70a. Plants look ok so far, in flower for almost 3 weeks now. Feeding with Blumats. Should I do some pruning? What do you do?

You are looking good, but as you progress, you will want that humidity down to 50% or less., otherwise you run the risk of mounds and/or budrot.
Lots of air movement everywhere at all times, and good air exchange.
Good luck.

Moulds, not mounds...autocorrect sucks.

I actually just now finished thinning mine out some more right before I clicked this post...I always take out the bottom stuff that doesn't see light and all the lil shoots that won't amount to shit...I also remove alotta the bigger fan leaves that are blocking light to budsites below....this method is highly debated...I've done it this way for years...mine were really thick this grow this is like the 3rd round of defoliation for these plants....and remove loads of stuff...prolly a brown paper bag full of leaves n twigs each time and they'll fill back in within days20210222_164158.jpg20210222_164127.jpg20210222_164218.jpg20210222_165128.jpg20210222_165134.jpg

I would follow My Own Dank's lead: there is too much foliage in your tent.
It's one thing if you're growing in an open room and can space out your plants.
A crowded tent is a different situation.

I'd rather use that space for equipment. I've got 2 fans on the shelf and one for under the canopy. It's a 4x4 scrog in a 4x5 tent. I'd also have to get another light. Using 2 Mars Hydro TSL2000
Who makes a 4x5x? grow tent? That extra foot must be really nice!

OP it looks like your using QB LEDs id Defoliate them. Cut all the fan leaves that have a stem thats longer then 1 inch.

Really!!?? Ok wow. I'm using California Lightworks 800w LED. Does the light matter in terms of pruning? And when you take off the fan leaves are you just snapping them off with your fingers, or cutting them? Does it matter? Your grow looks great.

Yeah man. its good for any type of indoor lighting. We cant get the penetration like the sun does (I HEARD IT). So all those fan leaves aren't really necessary. If you look at the type of plants that seem to get the biggest yields indoors are typically lower leaf strains. That CA light has some good penetration. maximize its use and un-shade your buds. Some of the biggest leaves will pop right off with your fingers. once they get smaller or you get higher up on the plant move to using trimmers. I also cut any branch that are under a certain size. this grow is ok. the strain im growing is good flavor but not producer imo. this one is Gorilla Cookies (GG#4x GSC). The bed is 5 year old recycled no till soil re-amended with BAS latest nutrient kit. Next grow will be way better. Dropping in PainKiller XL.
