I'm confused as to whether these are just trichomes, or has mold begun to grow? On nug does have very small bits of some mold, caught it right before it got serious. The other ones I can't really tell if it is or not? The microscope shot is of just a leaf that looked like it might have had a little mold?IMG_0379.jpgIMG_0374.jpgIMG_0375.jpgIMG_0376.jpgIMG_0377.jpgIMG_0378.jpg

Damn, its really hard to make a call with those pics. Pic #5 makes me think it definitely is mold, but I just don't feel comfortable making that call with those pics. When did you catch the mold before it got serious? During flower?

With this one, flowering was fine. Drying was fine. Maybe day 4-5 into curing (glass jars), I noticed it a litttlee bit on one nug ( a little webby), that's when I went and checked every bud by hand one by one and these ones sort of alarmed me. These nugs were not really wet, just moist (dry on the outside, moistish on the inside). I'll try to get better pictures but I really don't know if it's mold or if my eyes are playing tricks on me.

Whatever, nobody has died from smoking weed, so by that logic, nobody has died from smoking moldy weed.

If someone has ever died from smoking weed with some mold in it, it would have been in the news by now and the death count for marijuana smoking would be higher than 0.

Just cut off pieces that are visually moldy and make sure there's no obvious patches of fuzzy nasty mold over it.

In your case, it probably doesn't even matter as you're struggling to find it.

mold.. EWWWWW :-) cut suspicious pieces out and keep the jar slightly open during first stages of curing. A proper cure can take MONTHS

True story.. in the 70's we would go bury our grass in the Rockies because we were convinced the mold made it better.. (read it in some book or some shit that is what parts of the world do..

Heh, none of us died, but be careful with the molds. Especially if you have a lowered immunity, it can and does cause complications in a good many people. Nothing like hanging on to a low grade lung infection for several months either, so remember to change your bang water too.. and clean your room.. Did you take out the trash yet? What's for dinner?

I remember doing that back in the '70s.

The idea was in this book.
