my plant has been in veg now for about 3 weeks its pretty small but getting big now because i got food for it. anyways when i went to check it today i noticed pistol like leafs growing off the stems, ill try to explain the best i can, its got the first set of 3 leafs then at the stem both side have 2 pistol/leafs then the next set is 5 leaf and they also have 2 pistol/leafs, and the next 5 set also has it! its been on 18/6 since day 1

I know what you mean, and yeah, those are normal. I'm not sure what they're called, but they're not pistils, or 'female specific' parts. Both males and females have them. Sorry, but you're going to have to wait a little longer to sex it.

Stipules- That is the name for the growth you are talking about.

i wasnt going to sex it i just woke up and checked if it had enough water and noticed that and got scared! anyways my friend told me there nodes? anyways good to know its not sexing yet lol

A node is the place where each set of leaves, joins the main stem. If you're talking about little triangular looking growths on the nodes, those are stipules.

yea bro, just means itll b kinda bushy. its good thing, itll turn into a big branch most likely. i toped my plant about 3 weeks ago and you can really see the stipules good cuz they turned into main stems from topping

remember this plant is topped so your stipules wont b as thick but will get almost as big =) its just a sign of good growth, b happy, your stems will double =)

ah shit, i wus confused on whatcha were talkn bout.. never mind on that last post.. i realized how dumb i am jus a sec ago...got mixed up wit a thread i wus reading a min ago.. hahaha but yes stipules look like pistils, but are on both male and female plants

this is a stipule... not a real healthy one, and dont mind the pistils lol but is this what you are talking about?
