Is this still from over watering?

Plants are two weeks old and Im using about 80% perlite to 20% vermiculite. I didnt realize that the holes were clogged up and caused the plant to sit in water. I fixed the problem about 5 days ago but the leaves are still drooping. Before that the lower leaves were yellowing so I upped my nutrients from 1/8tsp/gal to 1/4tsp/gal 5 days ago as well. Im using dynagro folliage pro. The light is a 180w (probably using 100w) led. It was about 12" away but just moved to about 18" away. Temps fluctuate from 81-76. Humidity is around 45%.

Oh, the roots are actually grew threw the holes in the pot. Is that an issue that I should be worried about?

The really yellow spotted leaf is the first set of leaves. Once that started yellowing I upped the nutrients and found out the drainage problem. What changes should I make?

1.2 ml per gallon is not enough food. They recommend using more, you should read the label.

Never go by the label, manufacturers always start too high because they want you to use more. 1\4-1\2 is usually more than enough.

Any other recommendations? Plant looks just as bad if not worse. Ill do more research but basically leaves are drooping like they are over watered but they definitely are not at this point. The tips are slightly darker than the rest of the leaf as well. I just double checked the ph of the water and its 6.2 Not sure if the extra .2 is throwing off the plant that much though.

See those big thick veins thats the indication of over watering, this stunted squat look is typical of an imbalance of light color typically to much ;blue' or cool white add more red or warm white, cut back the nutes further.. by 50%, but this time add 1 teaspoon to a pint spray bottle fill with warm clean water and spray 2x times per day, you can't burn foilar feeding plants!

@vostok Could those signs of overwatering be from a few days ago? After I found out the drainage issue I let it get bone dry til I water again. The light is supposed to be full spectrum but is from ebay so quality probably not the greatest. Im switching over to a 600w hps/mh for one run for my father in law. He has cancer so we are going to make that RSO. I may just switch over to that kind of light depending on results.

Do you think it looks like too much nutrients with the 1/4tsp/gal? Im trying to figure out the feeding schedule so I can just tell my father in law what to use at his house. Or just go with the 1/8 tsp/gal and do the spray bottle to eliminate any guess work for him.

The latter is the best option, caution whilst under trail for the both of you.. "Or just go with the 1/8 tsp/gal and do the spray bottle to eliminate any guess work for him".

i think you found your problem and it will go away if you keep the care up. if your trying to keep it simple. perilite isnt really the answer for a novice. it drains fast and hast to bee treated like hydro and will be a pain to keep up with the watering and nutes as it gets bigger. co simple would be a premixed cocoa blend and adding nutes every now and then just like other houseplants if he cant grow a house plant he cant grow pot. consider organic herb for someone who is sick as well stay away from bud hardeners. aslo foilair feed is not an effective way of feeding a plant by itself. also one plant under and led isn't; going to give you shit for rso not on a frequency a cancer patient needs. that's going to take 1-2k of hps watts plus some one who really knows plants to spend 20hrs per week for 2 months maintaining the crop and safe place to make it. indoors is a bad idea heated alcohol burns invisibly and has explosive vapors. im sorry to be blunt im not trying to offend anyone im just being realistic, judging by you knowledge of pot in general making rso for a patient can have lethal consequences because for many reasons is beyond your expertise. find a good care provider to grow specifically for you would be a much better bet. good luck out there

@pandorasboxg

Appreciate the tips. This was just for me personally. I will have two separate tents running 600hps. I should be able to pull a pound between the two sites. For those I will be doing the hempy bucket. I think it will be easier in the long run from what I have read. Im still new but hopefully I will get this problem sorted out and get started on the right foot with this next grow.

As far as making the RSO, I will definitely be doing that outside. Dont want to end up on the news.

Heres what just appeared in the last few hours. Ive noticed a few gnats flying around and wondering if they are the culprit. Notice the brown spot.

gnats can be a bigger problem than most people think and can be hard to fend off one infested. but the plant looks a little young for the gnats to have gotten that far out of hand. but none the less are a result of the drainage problem
