It says it's 6 mm i think its light proof

I found out its actually 5.5 mm.. The guy said its 99.99% light proof.. He said only a 1000W light would cause a very little glow to be seen throught it( meh, even though I would only be using a 400w at most ) but anything less that a 1K light wont make a difference. I dont know if hes full o' chit or not. What do you guys think?
