Is this normal?

I got some bad seeds from a bag.... there were 5 of them, 2 popped in 24 hours, the others didnt so i tossed em and kept the 2.

one is sativa dominant. the other is indica dominant. is that normal? does it mean they have not good genetics or something? this is something ive never experienced.. i know for certain they were from the same bag because i picked all 5 seeds from the same nug. at first they both started to grow kinda slow and only had 3 blade leaves for the first 4 maybe 5 nodes. but now they are growing 5 blade leaves after i started LST training and growing at a normal rate, kinda

Its a crap shoot. You have no idea of the pollen that fertilized it. You could get a 12 foot hemp or the best strain of your life.

It's they we're from the same strain and are displaying different traits then its not stable genetics. Each seed will display characteristics of either parents or both almost all the time, unless it's an f1, then you have about 75% homogeny. Just pick clone them both, then flower then to see which is danker for you.

probably hermie seeds i would guess then. the buds looked really pretty... but didnt smoke as well as it looked. they were definitely indica dominant buds.

now about cloning, can i clone for sex? i tried researching it a little bit and gave up after pretty much everything i read said to just wait it out becuase by the time the cuttings roots and starts growing again and shows sex, my plants in veg would probably already be showing preflowers.

this is outdoor by the way, not indoor. i will attach some pictures so you guys can see. there are some problems going on, nothing too serious i dont think (could just be the genetics like i was thinking before) and ive kept everything pretty much under control. this is also my first time growing outdoors... im hoping for a harvest but not getting my hopes up.. just building experience because i have some legit seeds i got from a bag of medical chronic from colorado (snow caps) but thanks everyone for your info and opinions. much appreciated

the first pic and the last pic are the same plant. i LST trained one and not the other to see the difference between growth rate, i also FIMed the more indica one and was pleased with what happened so a week after i topped the more sativa one.

I would just wait it out no sense sexing them seeing their outdoor just keep an eye on them you only really want to sex them if your making a mother plant and the days are getting shorter now so it shouldn't be much longer till you see the sex
