Is this mildew or insects?...

Sorry for the total noob question! This is my first attempt at growing weed.

The plant spends most of its life on a windowsill that gets a lot of the morning & mid afternoon sun.
I take it around the back, onto a balcony, in the evening for another 2-3 hour dose of sun, outdoors this time.

These white specs are appearing more & more, in clusters, on the front & back of the lower leaves.

I've done a bit of research on common mildew, spider mites & whitefly but I'm still not sure what I'm dealing with.
For a start, I don't see any movement, except for one longer, red coloured maggoty looking thing. Also, when I shake the plant & don't see anything flying away.
It seems to be dusty when I rub it of with my fingers & this evening I actually wiped as much off as I could with a wet cloth.

So, what do I have & (more importantly) how do I treat it? Some kind of solution in a mister perhaps, or something in the soil?

I would say from pictures that they definitely look like aphids

To treat them it depends on where you live and what's available. A lot of people would use neem oil, however for myself I don't like to spray anything on my plants, I use ladybugs and praying mantis. They will take care of them in days. Try and find live ladybugs and place them on your plants they will stuck around and eat and eat.

Yeah, I suspected some kind of bug.

I live in Germany & these plants are growing in humidity averaging around 40%. It's summertime here & I'm expecting the plant to be ready for harvest around mid-September.

Funnily enough, we had quite a few ladybirds (that's what we call them in the UK, where I'm originally from) but they've all disappeared. Typical.
I absolutely LOVE the idea of using a Praying Mantis but sadly they'll be impossible to find here.

If they are flowering I would say never use any sprays on her. There are some cannabis friendly sprays that can be used but I am not a fan of them. Try blowing them off and killing them as you see them. They will multiply extremely quickly or you will end up smoking them after.

So, my bug problem was sorted very quickly with a natural pesticide spray a couple of months ago.

New problem...maybe...

It's around week 3-4 of my plant flowering & there are several new yellowed leaves each day. I've read this iis common when a plant is switching all it's energy into creating healthy flowers but is it happening too soon?

The plant's on a south facing windowsill & has had plenty of spring/summer.
It was planted in a large pot with organic soil & fertilizer.
Since then I've just watered it regularly. No extra nutrients were added.

Should I be adding nutrients now? It feels like a critical time.

Organic will take some time,look for water soluble like fish hydrslate.

Be kind It's my first ever attempt at growing.

It's about 5 feet tall & gets sun from top to bottom from morning to mid afternoon.

So, I searched for the suggested "Fish Food" but ended up drawing a blank so I bought some organic BIO-BIZZ from Holland. Good reviews, a couple of which say it's "great for cannabis....er...I mean tomatoes!" Heheheh!!

I waited for the soil to be suitably dry & gave it a 1/2 litre of water with 2ml of the bio added. No idea if it's had a positive effect on the nourishment of the flowers yet but the yellowing of leaves has slowed down. I'm removing these yellowed leaves when they're limp.

I've not lollipopped the lower branches yet but see that flowers are springing up everywhere. Typically, the largest are right at the top but there are some decent sized ones right down to about halfway & smaller ones below them. Should I leave the smallest, or pinch them off to allow the bigger ones to grow. I feel as though I should just leave it along.

How do you think it's looking, considering the seed first sprouted on April 1st? Do you think I have about a full month of flowering before I can start harvesting?
