is this magnesium deficiency

Could someone please tell me what my problem is? I have included pics of my flowering room and veg room. And a pic of last flower, my stems are purple , what am i deficient in? I know im not producing what i should be. I would appreciate any info, i'm new at this.

Looks more like potassium to me. Free advice, and just about worth it. cn

With limited info... I can assume it is soil which has either a salt build up locking out a few things.... or a Ph problem that has left you a little acidic for your friendly soil microbes to produce all of the nutes required for healthy lush green growth....


solution.... flush with 6.8 ph balanced water (a dramatic watering in order to flush all the bad stuff or correct ph for lockout purposes) at the end of the flush it would be safe to use a synthetic fertilizer in a very mild dose to give the plant something to feed on. Let the plant recover for about 5 days or so then you can begin reconstituting the soil with fun stuff like worm teas, and maybe organic feeds l(roots organics).

but considering your so late into flowering by the looks of it...... just ride it out as the plants are dying anyway.... making a late flower plant recover from and defs is impossible..... now next time you will monitor your waters PH when feeding.... adding nutes to water drops PH in most cases .....so i can safely make that assumption..... for free as well

have you stopped feeding N?

I beleive purple stems are hint #1 that you have a N deficiency. Too late in flower to do anything about that now, but my guess is the stems were purple long before you made this post.

yeah they turn yellow because they use alot of N and Mg for the stretch and ppl tend to decrease or stop giving N all together when starting flowering(not a good idea imo)......

If they are sick its normal.
This is due to the pots being too small causing huge salt build up(between feeds),moisture stress and in turn making the plant being unable to take up nutes mainly N and K ,plus the leaves would have had 'rust' spots prior to dropping. Nothing you can do now its fucked. Next grow much bigger pots with 30% perlite,water more often and monitor the ph.

I always ph my water and fertilizing, i keep it at 6.8. But appreciate any advice, the last picture is of a previous harvest. I see my plants going same route. my veg i thought was going good but a friend alerted me of the purple stems in veg, which is third pic, the first and second pics are of the bloom now at 19 days in, which i am seeing leaves turning yellow every day and plants stems purple streams in spots. The veg plants are green but the leave tips are starting to curl, like i said i appreciate any advice for a newbie. I did awesome outdoors in previous years with just promix and bat guano, and organic rainbow mix in bloom. But now indoors is a whole other beast, and getting veg and bloom tea from another caregiver and losing my confidence in them.

How big are the pots?

your third pic looks like veg room and nice and green. did you change straight to bloom nutes when you went 12/12?

if so this could be the cause of a lack of N you could maybe try sticking with veg nutes for first 1-2 wks of 12/12.
