I was wondering whether or not that having the stem be 5 inches tall with only the first two set of leaves on it is OK. Does this happen alot or does it rarely happen. If its not ok what should I do. I have to hold the stem up with a stick other wise it falls over. Thanks Sorry I dont have a camera to take pics
 
yeah it happens all the time , its called stretching. re burry it and get your light closer. goodluck
 
When you say reburry it should I just add more soil to the top or take it out. Also if I add more soil im afraid the roots wont get water because of how much soil is on top.
 
it probably stretched cause you had the light too far away.... are you really a type 1 diabetic? my little bro has that, it's no fun
