Hello everyone.
I've browsed this website for a long time but this is my first post and I was hoping someone would be so kind as to help me out.
I found a seed in a bought product and decided to try growing from it. Ok, it started fine and dandy and the plant grew and grew. But it didn't take long for some leaves to start curling at the end .. turning white and dying. It spreaded from the end of the plant and slowly ate itself inward. (see pics)
Also they started to dry up at the bottom and upwards .. slowly dying, one leave after another drying up.
Now I came here and thought this might be some deficiency, so I bought organic fertilizer with every conceivable nutrient but no change .. it slowly keeps dying with only a few leaves whole.
The fertilizer is just .. hen shit? (Sorry, I am from Iceland). Just some hen/chicken droppings. But it has all kinds of nutrients ..all of those I think were mentioned on the nutrient deficiency web page on this site.
Now, the lightning is a fluorescent light, nothing fancy but should be enough. Still, its only a typical desk fluorescent lamp with (60w) bulb.
The plant is watered every other day until the dirt is wet.
Well this plant is almost dead and just keeps dying. But what I wanted to know is if anyone knows what might have happened so I can watch out in the future, plus if we can perhaps smoke any of the leaves that have dried up, and/or the leaves which still are whole?
How would I go about such a thing? Do I dry it up for 2 weeks then can I smoke it? (saw someone talk about putting it in a jar when dry, then opening the jar up for one hour every day for 2 weeks .. or is that only for buds, cause this plant has none?)
So I want to know if I can get high from either the dead leaves or the ones not starting to die .. or even both? And if so, what should I do to get them to "work" (I've tried smoking some of the dead leaves after leaving them to dry for one or two days, but to minimal effect).
And yes, I'm a total ignorant beginner
I'm thinking about trying this again .. just want to see if I can get anything out of this failed attempt?
A big thank you to everyone willing to give me a few tips.
