how are the plants doing, if there good then your fine. that said, the black spots are probably algae, not a real problem, see if you can keep the light off of the rockwool and it should die. rockwool stays moist for quite some time, a drip irrigation seems like it might not be the best method to combine with rockwool, because the constant drip can make the rockwool too soggy. next grow try hydroton. i prefer hydroton because watering schedules are more consistent. with rockwool you water differently depending on the system and size slab of rockwool.

sorry just caught your pictures. plants look good, once again i recommend getting them out of the light. its prob algae, or possibly mold, you might try to spray it with a highly diluted hydrogen peroxide mixture, ive heard some people say they had success using diluted listerine.

How can Rockwool get to soggy? It can only hold a limited amount of water.

Make sure all the rockwool is covered and you should be okay

i guess i didn't mean soggy, or obviously the roots would suffocate every time you flooded them. what i meant was, they hold too much moisture for my preference. which does sap away oxygen, and restrict feedings. also it allows algae to grow easier than other mediums and is harder to flush. no offence if your a rockwool buff but its just "not my bowl of weed" (not my cup of tea)

It is easy to overwater small plants in large blocks of rockwool like that. Once the plants double in size they will have no problems drinking all that dry 3 times a day, but not at the moment. As suggested cover the rockwool, and run a cycle through of hydrogen peroxide to kill any fungus and molds.
