cheap = cfls....... im using them u can buy them in singles for like $4 and suspend them all around the plant(s) and if u get y-splitters u can double up on em

Just spend a little money and get a 400W HPS light with hortilcux bulb. It will be well worth your while!

If you can't afford a 400W there is always 150's and 250's

for 2 plants, you could get away with a 250 hps. If you really want to do fluorescent, then go with some good T5s...but they are a bit pricier.

lowes is clearancing a bunch of lights got a 150 hps bulb includes 8.50 bought all 4 also had 70's for 35 easy to gut and remote ballast

dude no i am no expert but 4200k is not a good spectrum for lights , too green I think. You need 6500k for veg stage then 2700k for flower... just go to walmart and buy 2 26w lights for $5-7 LOL t5s are a good choice kinda expensive... but for simplicity's sake just go to Wal mart and get some lights.
