Is this a nutrient deficiency? It's my first time growing and this plant is an auto

Please help, I have been trying to do natural soil nutrients. A little bit of 444 things like that but it is my first time growing and I haven't been tracking it well enough for you guys to give me precise advice but please let me know what I might be able to do to correct these leaf issues.

It looks like powdery mildew is setting in, where are you growing these, inside or out, and what is your environment like if you are growing indoors?

I grow inside, my AC doesn't keep up too good here in Arizona so sometimes it gets up to 85° in there but it stays between 74 and 84 normally and 40% humidity

Are you ever using a humidifier? And if so, is it a cool mist type?
I am using a humidifier, it is marketed as cool mist but I fill it up with ice cubes and water so hopefully it helps keep the temperature down and I also have two fans I will take pictures of everything and send it to the thread

The extra white you are seeing is a mineral deposit from the cool mist humidifier being left on young immature trichomes. At least that's what I am seeing. Not powdery mildew.
The humidifier is right under that plant isn't it? I recommend warn mist because they leave the minerals deposited in the tank. They don't have to add any heat just pipe the moisture in through a duct.

Well from the pictures I guess it's not under the plants but I still believe that its just mineral build up. I have seen it before.
If you are worried about pm, just get some potassium bicarbonate and some castile soap. It will help cure and/or stave off any future issues.
Good luck friend!

So I should use a different humidifier? And will the minerals harm the plant at all again I'm wet behind the ears here

You can also hang a wet towel in the space to add moisture quickly and not have to spray it. Do you spray them ever? A weekly bath does wonders.

Also I noticed you said you ac doesn’t keep up. Is it a central air unit for your home or do u have one running for your grow as well?

I have a central AC unit in the house, the window in that room is in the front of my house so I can't really air it out that way. It's record setting like 120 115 here this week. I have multiple humidifiers that I can use

Like I said, I would use a warm mist humidifier. That is what I use. If the temperature is running high, I will locate my humidifier outside of the flower room and run it in through a length of ductwork. Then the minerals stay in the tank instead of condensing and depositing on things in the grow space.

I want to thank you all, this response has been so fast and very helpful. I know I took a lot on as a first time grower but autos don't produce very much and I smoke quite a bit.

If you can get a exhaust fan going it will pull cooler air in the room. And maybe look into a stand up one for the room.
I also use a portable ac if I have a crop running into late spring indoors. After that it's not worth it to try and cool things. That's when thing go out to the hoop house.

Grow photos next time. They do better in the same amount of time and there's more room for errors your first few through. :bigjoint:

Ok so if the rest of your home is cooler than the room… turning the speed on the exhaust fan up will get cooler air in the room. Your room should have negative pressure. As in be pulling air in when the door is open. And you need fresh air in also. And you need it to be filtered air. I have seen many dif ways people get the fresh air. I’m cheap, so I cut a hole in the door to fit a high quality furnace filter to allow maximum air flow. Mind I live in Michigan so it doesn’t matter if my neighbors smell it. Your case may differ.
