is this a normal growth rate?

the time tags are for me, im going to be taking pictures of the progress and maybe the occasional hyperlapse.
bit of a story, this little one had a pretty rough upbringing lol.

5/7 was the beginning of germination
5/10 singular sprout transplanted to soil
5/13 noticed roots were growing in air(first time growing) and flipped upside down
5/19 i left my soil over the weekends oon accident, basement mildew type smell set in, immediately changed the soil and washed out the small pot
as of today, the 20th, the cotyledons fully seperated this morning, and since seperation its grown about 3/4 of an inch in height.

again, im a first time grower, and im in Pennsylvania, so nobody i know has an ounce of experience when it comes to growing. thanks to all who provide assistance.
by the way, the soil is unfertilized, its just those pucks of dry soil you water and mix around.

A little more info on your soil. What are the pucks made of? Probably coco. If so you need to be treating this grow like an hydro grow. Also, does that pot have a drainage hole at the bottom?

honestly it didnt tell me. you know those prepackaged like basil(example plant) grow medium pucks they give you, its one of those lol. it does not have a drainage hole either. im a first time weed grower but ive gardened before, ive been trying to look for a planter in the house that does have a drainage hole, dont think i have nursery bags.

Seedlings do not require direct light or nutes.
I don't feed my girls until the cotyledons have started to yellow/shrivel, and I hold off direct light until she has first set of real leaves or stretches.

I googled "Soil Pucks" and the ones I found were mostly coco and a couple were moss, in either case it's a "soiless" grow. So you treat it as a hydro grow. You need to have drainage in the pot, otherwise the seedling will drown/suffocate. It also needs fertilizer, very weak, there's no nutrients in coco and little in moss, you need to provide everything for the plant. I would suggest getting soil some decent potting soil and real containers, even a plastic 5 gal bucket will do, just put a bunch of drain holes inthe bottom, cloth bags would be better.

Sounds like a compressed coco brick - so you will have to feed it.
