I am wondering wtf this is. Just seeing it today..only bud I see that is is near. Help should I cut that bud.. it is wet out still, going to get better look later
Had a similar occurrence on one of the outdoor ladies also (Northern Lights). Thankfully it was not on a main and more side growth, so I snipped it off and am just keeping vigilant.I am wondering wtf this is. Just seeing it today..only bud I see that is is near. is that a confirmation I need to cut that, it's a cold I'd rather get rid of one then have it spread.. definitely not looking good to the high, LOLHad a similar occurrence on one of the outdoor ladies also (Northern Lights). The one picture isn't clear enough, but it looks like purpling to me. A better pic of the discoloration, would be more helpful.I am wondering wtf this is. Just seeing it today..only bud I see that is is near. Help should I cut that bud.. it is wet out still, going to get better look later
I saw some on the leaf as well .. I may have made mistake. It is kinda purple .. I guess I am out to learn.. I guess I've had a better camera. I might have identified that earlier. Still debating if it's purple or black though.. I'm seeing what looks like black fur when I look at it. Could be purple thoughThe one picture isn't clear enough, but it looks like purpling to me. Agreed. I see it now.I'm leaning towards it being Phytoplasma.
I guess I learned something,Agreed. I see it now.
Should I expect most buds to start to look like this then. If you couldn't tell I did the ultimate and cut that. anger at the moment, as I'm confused this is a virus I should have done it. From what I'm reading on duck duckI'm leaning towards it being Phytoplasma.
I'm familiar with the visual symptoms but I've never had it and don't have experience on how it progresses or how to deal with it.I guess I learned something,

It's blackI have had it on a few outdoor plants over the yrs its a type of virus I believe it comes from the tri colored leaf hoppers. mine kept getting worse so i removed those tops. Also each time i got it i had funky looking stems here an there flat instead of round. Might want to take a close look at the stems to confirm.
Mine's gone pretty well instantly black and pretty flat. She don't seem to be bothered too much for me taking that. So I took a couple other bad fan leaf. And it's an extra training. Now needing those smaller buds more. have to do some reading. For the particulars about this. I thought I made a novice Choice by cutting, very appreciated off the site.I have had it on a few outdoor plants over the yrs its a type of virus I believe it comes from the tri colored leaf hoppers. mine kept getting worse so i removed those tops. My stem is flat and black inside. Making me think I may need to go lower, I gave it a day I don't see any other infections. That's what this is cuz it's a covid for plants. And it can be transmitted by insects. I certainly haven't done detailed research on it I'm confused. Clarification on host is host the plant or his host the bud. Or perhaps the branch The Host.I have had it on a few outdoor plants over the yrs its a type of virus I believe it comes from the tri colored leaf hoppers. mine kept getting worse so i removed those tops. That's what I saw was virus. Once this was brought up. At one point it said it was enhancing it was common in agriculture. How is it there

I'm not sure how many more I'm going to cut off, as you say what's the positive to it. It's not rotting. However I've cleaned it up and two more today. It's a decent size plan so I'll try to make it last for 5 weeks more. I have one girl sitting beside or not affected. This is it. My plants get affected every year to some extent. As Thumper said, leafhoppers are carriers. There’s no cure…just keep your plants healthy and they should be fine as long as it’s not too widespread. You can cut the affected tops but I’m not sure if that has any positive impact. Little is known about this disease in Cannabis.
