I am just starting my first indoor grow using only cfls, however there are two of these lights in my garage that i remember my dad telling me when i was little were the lights used for growing marijauna but not to tell my brother cuz hed take them and use them for growing lol.

They produce quite a bit of light, the light brand is apollo(i think? its says that on the electrical cord attached to them anyway) the bulbs are about 3 inches long and 1cm think, and on the white ceramic part of the bulb it says 110- 130V 150W. They also produce a lot of heat, thus the metal grating aroung the glass protecting the bulb.

The light it emits seems to me to have a yellowish tint, however when i took pictures with my digital camera, when the lens adjusted to the light the bulb looked like it was emiting blueish white light. They also produce a lot of heat. And on the back of the fixture it says SUITABLE FOR WET LOCATION MISC FIXTURE L-850 1G96 .

I looked on the website, but i could find this model, (probably cause they are about 15-20 years old i believe) So are they MV,HPS,LPS,MH or something else? Pictures included below show the fixture and the bulb, as well the bulb with the light turned on which gives it a blueish look when taken with the camera, but when i look at it with my eyes and squint it just looks yellowish. Can anyone please identify what type of light this is?
