is this a good idea??? need help!

ok so im germinaten about 5 seeds tomorrow and have heard of this new way to do it and was wondering if its affective, ok so i get 3 paper towels wet them,but not driping wet, put the seed on the towel then put 3 more paper towels on top of them and also make them wet, then this is were is gets different INSTEAD of putting them between two plates or in a plastic bag, would it be a good idea to put it inside a dvd box?????

popping beans is something that you'll get better at each time. until you're "very" comfortable doing it, i wouldn't try new ways. it hurts to lose good beans.

it would work but ud probably lose water through holes etc in a dvd box.

Same concept, keep it dark.

its got to be kept dark and always moist any air intake through holes in the dvd case could dry out the paper towles if not checked from time to time

use jiffy cloth instead of paper towl. Doesnt matter what you put em in, as long as its dark., and wet. You want them warm, on top of a digital box or electrical device of some sort is good. Jiffy pellets I find better, with a dome, cause you can transplant into soil without any possible tap damage. Hydro setups, jiffy cloth is best.

theirs nothing different about the meathod you are describing plates dvd cases its just keeping it dark and warm. even between 2 plates their is airflow just keep the towel damp and check it every 12 hours or so and dont let the tap root get to long befor you plant it
