the plant that im a little worried about is 2-3 weeks old and hasent grown in about 4-5 days hasent done nothing no new leaves nothing is this normal or is there somthing wrong
the lumen output for 1 light is 2700 how do i direct that all on the plantEither no nutes and/or not enough light so growth has slowed to a crawl. Usually, seedlings already have a starch storage in the embryonic leaves good enough for getting to the first 4-leaf set so I suspect that the light is NOT intense enough.. even though you have one cfl for each, the lumens are scattering at every angle and are not directed toward the plant (Ide say the leaves are getting about 1/20 of the total intensity of the light produced) and Im not even sure what the wattage is on those bulbs but the more light the better cuz they look slightly stretched ...
put a piece of mylar over each bulb so that the light can only be directed straight down onto the top of the plant, this will increase the lumen output for each plant at least 10-fold. good luck!
