I am in the middle of a flowering cycle for my plants. I am finishing up a real meat-grinder of a summer course and would like to go on a backpacking trip for about four days. There is no-one who lives near to me, and who I trust enough to water my plants while I am gone. The longest my plants can go without water (soil grow) is two days. After that, the heat in the closet dries em out. After four days...well I just wouldn't want to try it. I have been racking my brain for a while, and can't come up with anything real solid.
The only possible option I can come up with is to experiment with putting the pots in a pool of water filled with nutes. I don't however, want to over-water them either.
Anybody have any ideas?
