Please help fast...need to know from the experts only.

I am new to growing but have been lurking here for a while. I will be building my grow in my closet which is 9x4x4. I found a Sun Tube on ebay that claims to be better than a cool tube. I have googled them and they seem legit. Has anyone ever used one of these? The faster the answer the better because the Buy it now price is well below what i found it for at the online stores and I don't want to loose it. I am trying to get the money together tonight. It also includes wings, are they necessary?

I see the same seller is getting rid of alot of his stuff like his 600W digital ballast and 2 bulbs for Cheap so I might switch my plans a bit. I have read good reviews on the ballast but do you think the bullbs are really the best on the market like this guy states or does he just want to sell? Price also seems good but was planning on 400 Watt so not sure if I want to go this big.

one of my friends has one of these in his closet.

they work fairly well depending on how you
set them up, and if you have it in the right
position you could work wonders with it.

also not bad for beginners.

Thanks Decs

I thought the cool tube was not a beginner item. What makes you say "for beginners"? Isn't this just a cool tube with a better internal reflector because of the dispersion ridge, better cord routing out the top where the hardware is, and larger wings also attached? Or do you consider cool tubes in general for beginners only?

These are usually more expensive than the cooltubes i have seen. Im heading to work now but any advice would be great.

Does anyone else think cool tubes or sun tubes are beginner products? I don't want to have to replace my equipment so soon if so.

Anyone, lol? Please

Should I just go with the euro style box vented hoods? They are more expensive but don't want to have to replace this if i go bigger. I have already tried the search feature but there isnt much info on ROI about this "sun tube"

I use a cool tube, it is not a beginner product. Pics in the link in my sig
Cooltube and sun tube are nearly identical except for the plug. Sun tube plugs into a sun system ballast. Most cool tubes have a plug for a hydrofarm "all system ballast".

Figure out which plug you have first, then you won't end up having to splice the wires to retrofit.

I spoke to the seller earlier as I was wondering this. He used it with "Digital Greenhouse" ballast which is I already have. Looking at the detailed pics and online instruction manuals the plug/ Connector is identical to that of the cool tube. Wish Someone on here had one.
