is my stretch caused by heat?

Hi ive got a couple plants here I grew from seed. Ones master kush and the other is a strawberry cough. they are three weeks from the flip and the stretch has been crazy, never had this much stretch before. Using 242 actual watts of cfl mostly red 2700k and 250 watts of mh. Temps are staying right around 78-82 in day time and right on 72-74 at night.
I thought the stretch may have been because of the heat coming off the mh considering they were a bit close and that must make it warmer than the thermometer near rhe middle of the plants. So I lowered the plants to the floor and added a fan blowing between the lights and the plants but my stretch continues. Any advice would be appreciated.IMG_20150330_170224_124.jpgIMG_20150330_165848_652.jpg IMG_20150330_170224_124.jpg IMG_20150330_165848_652.jpg IMG_20150330_170224_124.jpg IMG_20150330_165848_652.jpg IMG_20150330_170224_124.jpg IMG_20150330_165848_652.jpg IMG_20150330_170224_124.jpg IMG_20150330_165848_652.jpg

you can stop some of the strech by getting lights closer to canopy, put your hand over the canopy hold it there 30 sec if it hot move lights up,move down until it is uncomfortabe on your hand ,once uncomfortable pull back up a little .with cfl's you can dam near put them on top of your plants.anyway mess with light get them right, you can still blow your fan across canopy bettwen your lights. when you put in flower those bitches are really going to strech so figure the light heigth now .hope this helps

Thanks for the reply the plants in question are already on week 3 of flower, thays what I meant by three qeeks from the flip. And I was wondwring why they are still giving offa lot of stretch.
I turned off my red lights in pics to make it a bit easier to see. And I had trouble when uploading so there is a couple copies of the same pic of some random vegging plants under my t5s. Sorry for the confusion.

Hmm they are new strains to me, just never had such vigourous stretch in week 3 of flower. Ive also never used hid lighting. But Iwas under the impression the mh would reduce stretch. Icould be wrong. I guess i will just keep em how they are till the beginning of week 5 and see if they are still stretching.
