Is my Seed Dead? Did not Germinate in Soil.

I planted 8 seeds directly into a mixture of mostly worm castings on Friday evening. Last night and earlier today, a total of 7 of them have popped through the soil. I ended up using a tiny, but very sterile and clean knife to push the soil away from the seed's location and try and find the seed. The seed was totally intacted and has not germinated at all.

Is my seed dead and will not germinate or is it just very stubborn? Should I leave it in the soil for a few more days, should I throw it away and plant another one real quick to replace it, or should I try soaking it in water or between damp paper towels for a few more days? Thanks.

yea some seeds take longer then others so once u see it crack ,place it in soil.

If this plant is somehow able to develop into a female plant, then I will owe you some buds off of it. Thank you for your time and help.

Too bad there isn't an emergency hospital that you could take your sick seeds for help. I guess this forum is the next best thing! :-)
