Is my pipe dream even possible?

Hello all,

OK I have an idea and I want to see what the pros think. 1st off im new
to the hole growing thing. I want to grow for me and me only. I want to
set up 2 rooms. 1 for veg and 1 for flower. I want to get 2oz of bud off
2 plants lets say every 6 to 8 weeks. Lets assume I have a mother and all
the clones make it etc. Now for the pipe dream part. I want to do all this
with CFL lights. I know HPS and MH are the best but heat is a big issue.

May plan would be 6 42w CFLs for each room. I will have them hanging in
groups of 2 lights (1 set up high the other 2 sets down lower on the sides)

The plan would be to let each plant get about 2 feet tall then start to flower.

So my question. Is this even a realistic goal? or am I just kidding myself?

and yes, the yield, 1 oz per plant is definitely attainable.

2 feet is kinda large to grow under cfls. I'd flower when it's 1 foot or LST it, I'll see what the other guys have to say though

the time and money if its not even possible.

i doing that now, i have a veg and a flower room, but both are very small, the flower room is only 1.1M heigh. I have 1 250w in flower room, and 4 25w's in veg, i put them into flower at 8'', i will harvist every 2 week, and i plant a seed every week (assuming a 50 / 50 split of male and female)

Some cfl side lighting really would help in my flower room for the lower buds, but don't have the room to install them, got my fist harvest in 2 and a half week, and can't wait!!!

First things first.
Your pipe dream is certainaly possible.
This is what i would do if i were u.
Put in 8 43w CFL.
Buy real good quality seeds online and choose the strain from height and the quality of the high,stone.
Plant about 5-6 seeds or so.
after about a month in veg,when they are all about 12"-14" u can flower them.
From 5 seeds im guessing u will have 2-3 females.
When u see signs of sex,setup another space for another 8 43w CFLs.
Make hash out of the males.
So that will leave u 2 grow spaces and 2-3 females.
Keep the best looking female in the veg room and then put the other females in the flower room.
After a week or 2,take about 10 clones and root them in theveg room.
It wil take 2 weeks to root the clones.
By now the mother female is 2 months old and the other females in the flower room are 1 month in flower.
Choose the 3 best looking clones and put the in the flower room aswell.
So u now have 3 female clones that are 2 weeks old in the flower room.
Wait this out for another month.Harvest the original females in the flower room(There is your 2OZ already).Now u should have 1 mother plant in the veg room and 3 female clones well on their way in the flower room.
Take 10 more clones from the mother plant and put the clones in the veg room for 2 weeks untill they have rooted.Choose the 3 best looking ones and put those in the flower room.
Now u have 3 clones that are almost ready to harvest and 3 clones that still have a month to go.
After about 2-3 weeks harvest the 3 clones(Thats an extra 3 OZ for you,sir)
Take 10 clones from the mother plant and put them in the veg room for 2 weeks untill they have rooted.
Then choose the best 3 clones(U can also pick the 5 best looking clones if u want to up the ante a bit,heck flower all 10 of them if u want).
And put the new 3 clones in the flower room.
After about 2-4 weeks harvest the 3 old clones.(Another 3 OZ in just 3 weeks time!)
Now take 10 clones from the mother plant ETC.ETC.

This method is called the "Sea Of Green".
U can and will harvest about 3 OZ every 3 weeks if u stick to this schedule.
Maby it would be good to get another pack of seeds so u have 2 different strain of motherplants.
(OG Kush and white widow ofcourse,lol)
