The next time you have the seed shell and membrane attached........mist it with water to soften it and it should come off with some gentle prying.

I just put her this 3 days ago, this afternoon I messed up and accidentally tore off, because the seed was stuck to one of the cotyledon and true leaves. Stupid me pulled it off but still has 1 cotyledon and part of the true leaves.

My question: will it survive, or will it die and just start over?
