is my carbone scrubber too big for my inline fan?

Few months ago i had some cash and invested in my grow tent setp.

I bought a Phat filter that was 500 cfm

I bought a vortex s-line fan 6" 347 cfm

I was told by multiple people on different forums to get the filter a bit bigger than the fan.

Now i feel i was lied too.

Of course at the time anything i tried to read on did not give me an answer nor did multiple posts on the subject in different forums.

I read last night you either get the fan and the carbon filter at same cfm or the fan with more cfm as you can control it with a dial a temp...

Since my fan is only 347 cfm and the filter is 500 will this not scrub correctly?

Oh by the way my tent is 4x4x8. i use 4 dwc buckets.

No the slower the air passes thru filter the better in scrubs/cleans the air

I just noticed too since i have the AC on that i can lower my fan speed and my temps are about 72 - 75 degrees without the AC on its about 80 and if i close the tent it can get to 85 but now with the AC on and the tent closed it doesnt get past 75 so far... testing now.

Man i thought i screwed up on the equipment i bought and thanks again for setting me straight.
