Is lowes good for buying lights

I want to start growing indoors soon. Where is a good place to buy some hps or hid light bulbs. I pland on growing about 5 plants so how many watts would i need. Any ideas

Hydro store will have HPS fo sho... you can get everything else at Lowes/Home Depot
