is light under the plant ok?

I was just wondering if i put my normal veg light which is 2, 68 watt cfl. under the plants cuz i have enough room. Will it help or hurt. pics of light and room. greatful for any expertise

Side lighting can help.

plants don't photosynthesize from the bottom up, if they did they would turn there leaves over to get exposure to the sun, as Ring said side lighting... stay high
