Is it too early for light

My seedlings poped out of plugs it 4 days since I placed seed in plug. I just put them under 4ft 8 t5 lights 5 to 6 inches away from top on plant. Is it still too early for light and if not how much light a day can I give plants

It's never too early for light, and most people start them off on 18 hours a day. Your distance is good.
I have a probe in tray my temp is 85f I think that’s too hot I have two fans blowing and n humidifier on to try n bring down temps to at least 75 leg if I can but I may need to raise lights up some

Just take out the 6 bulbs that aren't over your plants and save some power. That's a lot of wasted light.
Even 1x23w CFL or equivalent LED would be enough for them at this stage. Even with 2 fluoro bars on you're wasting a large percentage of light, especially with your seeds in that configuration. I think you should have put them in a straight line and put them under the middle of two T5's and taken the rest out, then add them back in as the plants grow.

Even though it’s not directly above would it benefit from getting light from sides
