Is it possible for smaller buds to ripen 1st

Ok most people grow with light on top but I am using CFL's so I have them on top, sides, and bottom. I used a jewelry eyepiece cant really see if there is color in there Now I ordered a scope to check the trichs but its still in route. So I was looking and my main cola is maybe 20% red pistils but my side colas are about 75%. Can they ripen before the main cola? If yes what could I do?

Good question. I got a 400w hps on top and some high powered cfl's around the sides, and i still find the side buds have redder pistils quicker. I also got a scope comin so be able to be more sure. If you think the side buds are ready though, try picking one or a couple and drying it out to test the smoke. It'll give you some idea of where you're at with the plant overall i'd think. best of luck!

It makes sense to me that they would finish cooking first, but I'm as new as u.

Besides, there is not law that you have to harvest all at one time. I've even read that you harvest in stages and then you can actually put your plant back into a veg stage and reharvest. I've heard you can do this like three times.

Yeah thats funny you posted here I was just reading and checking your pics out on your post. Nice kush plants looks real dense I was just trying to find my tiger to put up to my main cola to compare with your N.L.
