Is it Even Worth it to Buy a Dehumidifier?

Just chopped a shit load and its been pretty friggin humid here recentely. With a lot of rain. RH is like 73% now. Is it worth it to buy a dehumidifier? And what area will it cover to get RH down to like 50%. Any questions, guesses? I need some old head wisdom...fire away. My pencil is sharpened.

actually save your money and go to home depot and get moisture magnet.
Cost me 20$ VS 200 for a cheap dehumidifier
It is well worth the money.

Dehumidifiers raise the temps a lot to get the humidity down. I never used the moisture magnet but it would be worth a first try.

SimonD thx for dropping by. I'll stop by the depot and check it out. I'm playing hooky from work today. I gotta look up what's the best RH for drying and at what RH does it become dangerously high.

While the product is hanging, air circulating around the flowers, there isn't much chance of mold. The problems start when the flowers are jarred. For drying, optimum is ~50%. Curing is a little different. My curing thread on IC discusses gauging the humidity inside the jar with hygrometers, and it may be helpful in your situation. There are over 1100 posts, it's a long read, but it will answer every curing/drying question you could possibly have. Best of luck.
