It could be. But if your using quality nutrients & following the directions on the bottles all the nutrients a plant needs should be easily available unless your not keeping your ph in check

I've never grown in clay pebbles before idk if build up is a problem with clay but it looks like build up to me.
Run some nutrient through through the pot and measure the ec?

Thx a lot guys. @Star Dog can you please detail better your answer or give me an hint (or a link to a web page) of the operation that you suggesting me ?
Is it a flush with RO water and then measure the EC ?
I can do it, but as I have only one bucket I should change the entire res with clean water and florakleen and run this res for 48h and then measure the EC..
Is this your advice ?
Thx a lot :)

Omg sorry, I thought you were using pebbles as a medium in a pot and hand feeding, presumably your measuring the ec in the bucket?

Are you using the recommended nutrient ec on the bottle or as recommend by other growers with similar systems ?

yes

yes

Do you still think I need a flush ?
It looks like like you have everything under control, what catches my eye is the list of additive, going on my own experience and without exception on here they lead to sick plants.
I'd find out what ec others use with your system, ime the instructions on the bottle are without fail to high.
Once you get a ec figure to work from use your base nutrients + calmag if required, i can't see your light type... Assuming it's sufficient your plants should recover fine.

The additives never produce as claimed, or maybe they do but not in the hands of us mere mortals lol.

you're completly right ! In the next res I will add much less additive or none at all !

phosphorous def and calcium def can look similar

Cal def will also exhibit burnt tips, rust spots. with P def plants will have tendancy to look blueish
it's not your case

for me you have a lack of calcium, what is the EC of your water out of the tap ?

Hey Jalbit. Did you ever sort out your problem? I am pretty much in a similar boat but have not been adding any calmag. Just FFOF and seaweed extract and here is what I am dealing with.
